Terms of Service
1. What we offer
My Town Reels provides local, ready-to-post video content, including:
- Clip Packs — a one-time purchase of a library of local video clips (e.g., the 100-clip Cobb County library) that you download and use yourself.
- Reel Plans — monthly subscriptions in which we produce and deliver ready-to-post, My Town Reels–branded reels to your inbox once a month (the Monday after your payment), in your choice of Modern or Vibrant style. Plans: 4 videos/month ($47), 8 videos/month ($77), or 12 videos/month ($97).
By purchasing, you agree to these Terms.
2. Subscriptions & billing
- Reel Plans are monthly subscriptions that automatically renew each month until canceled.
- Prices are as listed at the time of purchase ($47, $77, or $97 per month). You are billed on the day you subscribe, and your subscription renews automatically on that same date each month until canceled.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method the recurring monthly fee.
- If a payment fails, we may retry it and may pause delivery until payment is completed.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by emailing Sales@MyTownReels.com from the email on your account. Because your reels are produced custom for you, cancellations require 30 days' notice. After you request cancellation, you will be billed for one final monthly cycle and receive that cycle's reels, after which your subscription ends and you will not be billed again.
- To avoid your next charge entirely, cancel at least 30 days before your next renewal date.
- We do not provide partial-month or prorated refunds. You keep full rights to every reel delivered to you.
- We may also cancel or suspend a subscription (for example, for non-payment or misuse); if we cancel without cause, we will not bill you for future cycles.
4. What you'll receive & delivery
- Reel Plans (monthly): Your full monthly package (4, 8, or 12 videos) is delivered by email once a month, on the Monday after your payment. New subscribers receive their first delivery the Monday after they subscribe.
- Reel Plans (annual): Annual subscribers receive their monthly package on the first Monday of each month.
- Clip Packs: After your one-time purchase, you'll receive your download link within 48 hours.
- Reels are optimized as vertical video for Reels, Stories, TikTok, and similar platforms.
- Delivery timing may vary around holidays; we will let you know of any changes to the Monday schedule.
5. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for how you use and post the content, and for complying with any rules that apply to you (for example, real-estate advertising/MLS rules, and getting permission before featuring or tagging other businesses).
6. Content & usage rights
- Once a reel or clip is delivered to you and paid for, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use it for your own marketing, with no expiration ("permanent rights"), consistent with your plan.
- Because our content is semi-custom and drawn from a shared local library, we may reuse underlying footage, templates, and local B-roll to create content for other clients. You do not receive exclusive rights to that underlying footage.
- You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or repackage the raw clips as your own stock library or to third parties.
- All plan videos carry a small "by My Town Reels" credit.
7. Refunds
- Reel Plans: Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun, because production work and delivery occur within that cycle. Cancellation is handled under Section 3.
- Clip Packs: One-time Clip Pack purchases are non-refundable because they are digital products delivered with permanent rights.
- Nothing here limits any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
8. Price changes
We may change plan pricing. If we change the price of a plan you're subscribed to, we will give you at least 30 days' advance notice by email. Continuing your subscription after the change takes effect means you accept the new price.
9. Disclaimers
- Our services are provided "as is." We create quality local content, but we do not guarantee any specific social-media results, reach, engagement, followers, leads, or sales. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including how and how often you post.
- We are not responsible for the policies or availability of third-party platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Town Reels will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version with a new effective date. Material changes to active subscriptions will be communicated by email.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
